This 90-minute Valletta walking tour is the perfect introduction to one of Europe's smallest yet most remarkable capitals. Led by a professional licensed local guide, you will explore Valletta's UNESCO World Heritage streets while discovering the stories behind the Knights of St. John, magnificent Baroque architecture, colourful balconies, historic palaces and the city's most famous landmarks.

More than just a sightseeing tour, we show you Valletta through the eyes of the locals. Along the way you will uncover hidden streets, hear fascinating anecdotes rarely found in guidebooks and receive genuine recommendations on where to eat, drink and continue exploring after the tour.

Whether you are visiting Malta for the first time, arriving on a cruise ship or simply looking for an authentic free tour of Valletta, this experience is the ideal way to get your bearings before exploring further. Our passionate local guides combine history, humour and insider knowledge to create an engaging introduction to Malta's capital city.

Our tours operate on a pay-what-you-feel basis. There is no fixed price, you simply tip your guide what you believe the experience was worth. This allows everyone to enjoy a high-quality Valletta guided walking tour, regardless of budget.

If you are looking for a more comprehensive experience, we also offer our award-winning 3-hour Complete Valletta Walking Tour, which explores the city's quieter districts, spectacular viewpoints and hidden gems in greater depth.
