    The tour covers approximately 2 km at a relaxed pace, with frequent stops while your guide shares Valletta's history, culture, and hidden gems.

  • Is the tour suitable for cruise passengers?

    Absolutely. The meeting point is around a 15-minute walk from the Valletta Cruise Terminal or just a few minutes using the Barrakka Lift, making it an ideal option during your port stop.

  • What happens if I arrive late?

    Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time. The tour begins promptly and cannot wait for late arrivals. If you're delayed, contact us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you'll be able to join the group once the tour has started.

  • Are children welcome?

    Yes. Families are very welcome, and children can join the tour free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

  • Is the tour accessible?

    Most of the route is accessible, although Valletta's historic streets include some uneven paving and gentle slopes.

Walking tour of Valletta

We always start our city visits with a Freetour whenever possible and are always delighted. This tour of Valletta was interesting, informative, and entertaining. Our guide, Julia. was phenomenal. Her broad knowledge and infectious charm were in abundance. The tour is 90 minutes, but we would have readily spent much longer in her company, and we are certain she would have been able to fill hours with her stories of Maltese history.
